description Taking the large- scale wind power generator yaw bearing as studying object,the finite element model of the yaw bearing is established on the ANSYS platform. Considering the axial load and overturning moment coupling action on it,the static contact stress of rollers and raceways are analyzed,and the Hertz theory solution is given. Using the result of static analysis as the initial conditions of transient dynamics analysis,the operation process for horizontal- axis wind turbine yaw bearings is simulated,the dynamic response of the rolling elements,stress change on the rolling elements and the Mises stress dynamics changes of raceway during operation process are obtained. The results can provide a reference for the design and selection of bearing dynamic yaw.
