In the summer, hot weather accelerates the growth and reproduction of various bacteria and viruses. Water, food, and the environment are more susceptible to contamination, so summer is the season for infectious diseases such as monkeypox (Mpox), dengue, cholera, measles. We obtained surveillance data from Shusi Tech’s Global Epidemic Information Monitoring System and conducted a comprehensive analysis of the timing and location of outbreaks in infected populations from July to September of 2024.
