Summary:In this travel relation, long after the trip to Ceylon about which the author Nicolas Bouvier speaks of "exorcism", we are interested in the evolution of the mythological architext, always propitious to metamorphosis, leading to a new poetics. This poetics is based on entomological considerations and the observation of a hallucinated everyday life, and provides the metaliterary infrastructure for the very conditions of the work, by conjuring up inner demons.
