Description
Summary:In order to expand the application of medium-temperature phosphating technology in the plastic processing of steel pipe, the corrosion resistance of the steel pipe after medium-temperature phosphating was analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-Ray diffraction (XRD), damp heat test chamber, copper sulfate drop test method and film stripping method. Besides, the best medium-temperature phosphating process was determined. Results showed that the optimum medium-temperature phosphating process parameters were as follows: total acidity 30~40 mg/L, free acidity 4.2~5.4 mg/L, accelerator concentration 3~4 mg/L, phosphating temperature 70 ℃, and phosphating time 10 min. The steel pipe phosphating film prepared by the optimal medium temperature phosphating process had dense crystal, uniform grain size, the main composition of the phosphating film was Zn2Fe(PO4)·4H2O, the weight of phosphating film reached 7.42 g/m2, and the average thickness of phosphating film was 3.0 μm. The copper sulfate corrosion resistance time of the steel tube exceeded 300 s, and the heat and moisture resistance of the steel pipe was significantly improved.
