Relationship of the levels of 5-methylcytosine in genomic DNA, gibberellin and protein content with floral bud differentiation of Brassica parachinensis Barley

The level of DNA methylation and the contents of gibberilin (GA) and protein (Pr) in shoot apex tissue were studied During floral bud differentiation in Brassica parachinensis Barley. The results showed that the level of DNA methylation decreased continuously before the begining of the first class o...

Description
Summary:The level of DNA methylation and the contents of gibberilin (GA) and protein (Pr) in shoot apex tissue were studied During floral bud differentiation in Brassica parachinensis Barley. The results showed that the level of DNA methylation decreased continuously before the begining of the first class of floral bud differentiation, the content of GA reduced just before floral bud differentiation but increase after floral bud differentiation, and the levels of Protein increased continuously with the floral bud differentiation.
