description According to the involute gear dynamic performance prediction,the whole involute gear tooth surface with modification is constructed based on NURBS by measurement of tooth surface to get the tooth surface data,and its accuracy is verified.Combining with the meshing theory of involute gear,the contact pattern of involute gear with light load condition is solved.The contact pattern solution digital model is established,and the contact pattern visualization is realized by using Open GL.This method can replace the traditional rolling gear detection to achieve rapid analysis of the contact pattern.
