Aquí perseguimos desvelar las diferentes dimensiones analíticas que conforman el ideal del voto igual, ofreciendo para ellas variables cuantificables. El objetivo es facilitar el trabajo a posteriores estudios comparados sobre el voto igual.
Equal vote is an essential normative requirement for democratic elections. It is, however, sometimes reduced to a mere verbal expression with almost no meaning. The article tries to unveil the different analytical dimensions inside the ideal of equality when related to voting. The goal is to facilitate forthcoming studies about equal vote.
