| Summary: | In the following article we propose that the literature of the last decades in Argentina and Chile have resumed the post of the Universal Exposition in Paris to map other figurations and representations of the transatlantic exchange, from the perspective of research writing and documentary fictions. In particular, we point out that the novels Fuegia (1991) and La jaula de los onas (2021) by the Argentines Eduardo Belgrano Rawson and Carlos Gamerro, as well as the narrative artifact El museo de la Bruma (2019) by the Chilean Galo Ghigliotto have disputed the representational axes of the Latin American pavilions in Paris. |
