| Summary: | Currently, the issues of antimicrobial therapy and antimicrobial resistance are key both for medicine and for healthcare in general for a number of fundamental reasons pertaining not only to the health sector but also to social, economic, and even political spheres. The problem of antimicrobial resistance requires immediate and coordinated global action.
