Description
Summary:Under power market circumstances, the monthly safety check of dispatch schedule faces many problems, such as long time span, poor forecast accuracy of power load and new energy power, and high uncertainty of trading energy. Therefore, a practical constructing method for feasible generation region is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the generator units in the whole grid are clustered based on the active power sensitivity of each generator unit relative to the key transmission line, and combined with the unit's geographic location. Secondly, the base power flow determination method for building feasible generation region is proposed. Furthermore, the feasible generation region of leading generator cluster under different load levels is built with the total active power output of leading cluster and the total load set as the horizontal coordinates and vertical coordinates, respectively. Finally, the feasible generation region is revised on-line according the power system’s real operation condition. A provincial power system is used to validate the feasibility of the proposed method in this paper.
