description This study aims to develop a theoretical framework for teacher attrition in the Omani context. The study's methodology is qualitative, where data is collected using focus group discussions (FGDs) and in-depth interviews (IDIs) using qualitative descriptive design. The data is transcribed verbally and analyzed utilizing thematic analysis to develop themes. The study found that key issues include variability in school environments, unstable school cultures, inadequate administrative support, and insufficient collegial assistance that cause teacher attrition. Teachers highlighted other factors, e.g., bureaucratic burdens, ineffective communication, and conflict resolution. Research recommends that schools that foster supportive work environments enhance stakeholders' communication, apply conflict resolution strategies, and ensure adequate administration through decentralized structure and Human resources policies, which can substantially reduce teachers' attrition.
