description Relevance Acute respiratory infections (ARI) are a serious health problem. Pregnant women are patients with risk factors for the development of severe/complicated course of ARI and influenza.Aims To review the literature on epidemiological features and problems of diagnosis of ARI and influenza in modern obstetrics.Conclusions. The review showed indicators of the incidence of acute respiratory diseases (ARI) among infectious diseases, described the specificity of ARI in pregnant women, risk factors for severe influenza and secondary complications among pregnant women, a comparative analysis of modern approaches used for the diagnosis of ARI. There is an urgent need to create a comprehensive diagnostic test panel adapted for use in obstetrics.
