description In order to study the reasonable span-height ratio and isolation performance of the structure under the action of earthquake, a series of square pyramid space truss structural models are established. The node displacement and overall steel consumption are taken as the control points to study the most reasonable span-to-height ratios of square pyramid space truss structural models with different spans, different plane forms and different supporting modes respectively. Then 4 types of square pyramid space truss structures with a span of 90 m and an optimal span-height ratio are selected to analyze the seismic response law of the isolated and non-isolated long-span truss structures by the time history analysis method. The results show that: the optimal span-height ratio of square pyramid space truss structures has little to do with its plane forms or supporting ways, it is related with the spans. The use of column base isolation makes the axial forces of members and maximum node acceleration of truss decrease greatly. Both the natural period and the seismic input have effects on the isolation efficiency in different degree.
