This article reviews the literature on the role of adipokines in the etiopathogenesis of PCOS in adolescent girls. The literature base consisted of published articles - clinical trials, meta-analyses, reviews and systematic reviews. The databases - PubMed, ScienceDirect, EMBASE were searched. |
