description In order to solve the fault location prolem when a HXD2B electric locomotive is running, this paper presentd a data acquisition and remote transmission device based on World FIP bus technology, and described its software design idea. Data is encapsulated after collection, and transmitted remotely in real time according to different transmission strategies. The provided fault on-demand function can realize the information exchange between locomotives and the ground system, and the fault on-demand content can improve the accuracy of fault location on the ground based on the fault equation and other information provided by e-Train software.The application results show that the device can realize remote monitoring and fault location analysis of locomotive state by combining with ground receiving system.
