Dobutamine usage as a stress-agent at burden echocardiography allows evaluating not only ischemia but a myocardial vitality in post infarction area as well as clarify severity of valve stenosis, pulmonary hypertension and extent of latent obstruction of exhaust duct of the left ventricle. Method possibilities are presented as well as test protocol, main indications and contraindications. |
