Description
Summary:The literary Twentieth Century was marked by a global cultural phenomenon called Fantasy. The progenitor of this narrative vein was undoubtedly John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. In some of his academic essays, he carried out a real meta-narrative reflection about the relationship between Fantasy, Imagination and Fairy-stories. Through reflections on Fantastic Ethics and Narrative Pedagogy, this essay aims to deepen the theme of monstrosity in relation to some fundamental figures present in The Hobbit and in The Lord of the Rings.
