description Photosynthate supplement of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) flag leaf was studied in the aspects of supplying rate (includs photosynthetic rate and sucrose synthetic rate) and supplying duration. The results showed that photosynthetic rate of flag leaf of Lumai 22 is higher than that of Lumai 14, and sucrose-phosphate synthetase (SPS) activity in flag leaf of Lumai 22 is much higher than that of Lumai 14 during mid to late grain milking stage, which indicats higher photosynthate supplying rate of flag leaf of Lumai 22 than that of Lumai 14. Photosynthate supplying duration of flag leaf of Lumai 22 is longer than that of Lumai 14, because the content of chlorophyll and soluble protein is higher, while the content of malonaldehyde (MDA) of flag leaf is lower in Lumai 22 than that in Lumai 14, and the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) of flag leaf is also higher in Lumai 22 than that in Lumai 14. Then Lumai 22 obtains much higher biomass and grain yield.
