| Summary: | The article is focused on the data concerning the influence of ivabradine on myocardial electrophysiology in experimental and clinical studies. It is shown that ivabradine decreases ventricular rate in chronic atrial fibrillation, and prevents the paroxysms of atrial fibrillation. In myocardial hypertrophy patients or in serious chamber dilation, ivabradine shows moderate antiarrhythmic effect on ventricular arrhythmias. |
