| Summary: | Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) is a commonly used method of renal replacement therapy for End-stage Renal Disease (ESRD), along with Haemodialysis (HD) and renal transplantation. However, various complications may develop early or late in the course of PD, causing patient morbidity, compromising the success of PD, and necessitating a change to HD. Imaging plays a crucial role in the diagnosis and management of PD-related complications, of which Computed Tomography (CT) peritoneography has proven to be an effective modality, allowing for elaborate visualisation of the peritoneal anatomy and the demonstration of small leaks and hernias. The authors hereby report a case series of three patients (41-year-old male, 62-year-old female and 31-year-old male) with PD-related complications, including abdominal wall, pericatheter and peritoneopleural leaks, highlighting the role of CT peritoneography in identifying them. |
