| Summary: | The bauxite reservoir of Taiyuan formation in Longdong area of Ordos basin is a new type of oilfield exploration and development, and several exploration wells have obtained high production of industrial gas flow, which breaks the traditional understanding that the bauxite of Taiyuan formationin in Longdong area is the weathering crust of Lower Paleo Ordovician, and shows a good exploration prospect of the bauxite reservoir. However, the overall lithology of the Taiyuan formation in the Longdong area varies greatly, with diverse types of rock minerals and complex lithology, making it difficult to effectively identify bauxite rocks. Based on data such as X-ray diffraction whole rock mineral analysis and conventional logging, core calibration logging is used to clarify the logging response characteristics of five different lithologies in the Taiyuan formation. Conventional logging is used to form a fast identification method for aluminum bearing rocks based on acoustic time difference and natural gamma envelope area, as well as an automatic identification technology for lithologies based on Fisher discrimination. A calculation model for rock mineral content is established based on the results of whole rock analysis, forming a quantitative identification technology for mineral components in the entire profile, and finely characterizing the lithological profile characteristics of bauxite reservoirs. Comparing the lithology identified by different methods with the core data, it can be concluded that the accuracy of lithology identification is more than 95%, achieving good lithology identification results in bauxite reservoirs, providing technical support for the exploration and development of this type of gas reservoir. |
