Description
Summary:Background and Aims: breaking the law in nursing care of patients is one of the important and main pillars of ethical principles in nursing. This study was conducted in order to explain nurses' experiences of safe care as a qualitative study. Materials and Methods: In this qualitative study, 15 experienced nurses from Waliasr research educational center affiliated to Birjand University of Medical Sciences, living in 1400 South, participated in this qualitative study. The sampling method was purposive and the data was collected through semi-structured individual interviews. The method of qualitative analysis was phenomenological type with Mann-Venen approach and with the help of 10MAXQDA software. Result: The interview with the participants regarding their experiences of breaking the law in nursing care led to the emergence of two main categories: the first category is evasion of punishment and the second category: the inattention of the authorities, which is evasion of punishment: which itself includes 3 rough categories: a. ) Forced silence b) Sickness c) Forced evasion and the second class which was the imprudence of the officials included two sub-classes of mutual retaliation and slave nurse. Conclusion: The results showed that there is error reporting with a positive approach in nursing and it should be strengthened, and first of all, the laws established in nursing and human rights in nursing have been implemented by the officials so that nurses also witness breaking the law or sometimes not doing so. The implementation of the rules should not be carried out by the nursing officials themselves.
