description The story of the fall of Adam and Eve, as the three monotheistic religions present it, tells the same fabula declined in three different ways. This is the origin of the fall of Adam and Eve from paradise following their misinterpretation of the order not to touch the forbidden fruit. In addition to the problem of communication between God and man that the eponymous title concentrates in the form of a joke, the subject has a patent semiotic interest in the story of the crisis that each of the three religions treats in its own way, as well as in their way of conceive of the enemy, responsibility and sanction. The plan adopted in this research is as follows: after having recalled the thematic specificities of the story of the fall according to the texts of the three religions, we will look at the way in which they each construct the subject, the anti-subject, as well as their own conception of the enemy, responsibility and fault or forgiveness. We will end with a comparative analysis of two engravings relating to the subject of the fall, the first by Dürer executed in 1507 and the second relating to an anonymous Moroccan from the sixties. This will allow us to see the iconographic posterity of the story of the fall.
