| Summary: | Objective To evaluate the efficacy of percutaneous transluminal balloon angioplasty(PTA) and percutaneous transluminal stenting(PTS) in the treatment of central vein stenosis in hemodialysis patients. Methods Between January 2011 and December 2011,18 hemodialysis patients with central vein stenosis were treated by PTA and PTS.Under the local anesthesia, the PTA was carried out to dilatate the vein stenosis in at least 30 s.PTS was done on 4 patients after PTA(two cases of inferior vena cava stenosis with 10 mm×62 mm stent and two cases of subclavian vein stenosis with 12 mm×62 mm stent). Results All of 18 cases received PTA successfully, and received dipyridamole(50 mg,tid) and anticoagulant therapy with low molecular weight heparia All the patients obtained satisfactory results without swelling. Conclusions It was safe and effective for hemodialysis patients with central vein stenosis to receive the interventional treatment, and the PTA or PTS was worthy of clinical popularization and application. |
