Natural environments are instrumental in increasing the chances of recovery due to their positive improvement in the cognitive, physical, and social performance of humans. It also reduces stress levels because of its ability to provide a sense of control and privacy, provide opportunities for social interaction and physical activities and promote positive responses to public health through association with natural systems. The study aims to develop evidence-based biophilic interior design solutions in healthcare environments. Multiple disciplines and proposed guidelines are hypotheses on how to design more with nature for human well-being. They provide support and design considerations for psychological responses to nature in the interior healthcare environment. The study will proceed in applying the biophilic patterns on LEH hospital in Benghzi as a restoration project. The paper therefore concludes the possibility of incorporating biophilic design to integrate nature in hospitals environments.
