Description
Summary:According to the development strategy of the railway train control technology in China, the moving block system will replace the fixed and quasi-moving block systems. However, the theory of moving block is not perfect for railway transportation. One of the basic problems is how to determine the reasonable time interval between two successive trains departing from the same station. The analysis was done to build the train interval model of two successive trains departing ftom the same station in the same direction. And then, the calculation method based on geometric progression was presented to get the train interval of two successive trains departing from the same station. The simulation was implemented to verify the effectiveness of the established model and the presented calculation methods. The research has its value for reference to the scientific train control and the train organization of railway stations under the moving block condition.
