Mathematical modeling for eco-friendly feed quality assessment: Photoluminescent techniques in sustainable livestock production

Description
Summary:In this study, photoluminescent spectroscopy of feed in the visible and ultraviolet range is used to determine the mixing quality of the components of the feed mixture for cattle. Integral parameters (luminescence flux) are calculated and mathematical models (Φmix=f (k, m, Φi)) are constructed to determine the mass fractions of the main components of compound feeds. The applicability of the research results can serve to building a compact instrument base for the analysis of the multicomponent feed mixtures or combined feeds homogeneity, as well as to the development of the portable analyzers of the nutritional value of field-grown farming forage.
