| Summary: | [Objective] The transfer system at Beijing Subway Guomao Station can no longer meet the current passenger flow demands and poses significant safety hazard. It is necessary to study an integrated transfer renovation scheme for the station that takes surrounding commercial buildings into account. [Method] Problems faced by existing subway transfer are analyzed from four aspects: safety, comfort, convenience, and feasibility. Regarding existing issues, different renovation schemes based on renovation idea by combining subway transfer renovation with the renovation and renewal needs of surrounding commercial buildings are proposed. After comparison, the integrated transfer renovation scheme of the new channel+new transfer hall is selected as the implementation scheme. Its design points are elaborated in detail, and the fire and evacuation conditions of the implementation plan are simulated. Engineering protection measures are proposed for the important risk points in project construction. [Result & Conclusion] The integrated transfer renovation scheme for Beijing Subway Guomao Station combines the renovation and upgrading needs of the surrounding commercial, through enhancing the degree of underground space integration, greatly improves transfer comfort, safety and convenience. The fire safety of the integrated renovation scheme are verified by fire simulation results. For the connection between the newly built passageway and the existing structure, measures of "advance grouting reinforcement first, primary lining priority closure, and implementation during shutdown" are proposed; for the existing bridges passed through by the new passageway, the reinforcement measures of "active grouting pre-reinforcement and passive top support" are proposed. |
