| Summary: | Among the responses to social and territorial inequalities in health, health education appears to be a means of working towards a more equitable redistribution of roles, powers and resources between the various stakeholders. This is the case when health education is seen as a tool for promoting health. From an epistemic justice perspective, this means taking into account the knowledge of the people who are experiencing these injustices, and building on their experiences of health to propose appropriate solutions. The aim of this article is to describe the Académie Populaire de la Santé training program, situated in the department of Seine-Saint-Denis. All the pedagogical elements are analyzed in the context of epistemic injustice, suggesting possible benchmarks for health-promoting training programs based on the principles of epistemic justice. |
