Antiplatelet therapy the efficiency of which has been confirmed during randomized clinical trials is pathogenetically warranted. The paper considers the preventive and therapeutic efficacy of different groups of anriaggregants, such as aspirin, thienopyridines, and dipyridamole. It also gives data on the use of surgical and X-ray techniques to prevent cerebral circulatory disorders.
