| Summary: | Congenital corneal anesthesia syndrome (CCA) is an extremely rare condition where it causes numbness of the cornea. The parents of a 13-year-old boy with CCA struggle with learning due to his visual impairment and reliance on Relative size magnification books. Homeschooling is the only option for him, as regular schools do not accept him. Parents wanted their children to become independent and reject audio and tactile feedback. Virtual reality (VR) technology was implemented. A child with low vision was trained using VR technology to identify letters and associate objects with specific letters, demonstrating its potential as a revolutionary approach to low vision rehabilitation. |
