Description
Summary:Exercise-medicine integration is an organic combination of medical science and exercise science, forming a comprehensive strategy for disease prevention and management. Cardiac rehabilitation approach patient care with similar strategy and is a comprehensive therapeutic program that enables cardiovascular disease patients to achieve optimal physical, mental, and social functioning, empowering them to lead active lives through their own efforts despite their condition. As an exemplary application and an evolution of exercise-medicine integration (featuring exercise prescription, pre-exercise risk stratification, precise exercise assessment, and the integrated application of five core prescriptions). Cardiac rehabilitation emphasizes the exercise prescription as its core, psychological prescription as its spirit, smoking cessation prescription as its leverage point, nutrition prescription as its optimizer, and the medication prescription as its cornerstone. The organic integration of exercise-medicine integration with cardiac rehabilitation holds significant promise for assisting patients in achieving comprehensive physical, psychological, and social recovery, positioning it as a core strategy for the secondary prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
