PW Pergunu Lampung (The Regional Management) who fights for and advances education. Initiatives that can accelerate the Islamic education sector in Lampung. The current Minister of Education has started the independent learning movement, and teachers are at the forefront of the movement and must contribute to making it happen. Although many teachers are part of the teacher mobilization program, their current involvement is still quite low. In the second century, Pergunu helped an-Nahdlah Ats-Tssaniyah, or NU, achieve success. Pergunu Lampung has prepared all its potential and all its tools so that it can participate optimally. This study aims to determine the contribution of PW Pergunu Lampung in Improving the Competence of PAI Teachers in Lampung Province and to describe the supporters and inhibitors of PW Pergunu Lampung in improving the competence of Islamic religious education teachers in Lampung Province. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The subjects in this study are PW Pergunu Lampung administrators and PAI teachers, the data collection methods used in this study are interviews and documentation. The data sources used in this study are primary data sources for PW Pergunu Lampung administrators and PAI teachers. The data analysis techniques used are reduction, data display, conclusion and validity check The results of the study conclude that PW Pergunu Lampung's Contribution in Improving the Competence of PAI Teachers in Lampung Province through several programs including (a) Advanced Study Program (granting scholarships). (b) Implementation of Training of Trainers (ToT) (c) improving the quality of teaching and learning, the Lampung Nahdlatul Ulama Teachers Association (Pergunu) is determined to jointly advance the quality of education in the local
