Description
Summary:The author focuses on one of the most complicated problems of North-East Asia, namely the issue of a peaceful resolution of the crisis on the Korean peninsula, the prospects of signing a peace treaty instead of the current ceasefire agreement as well as Russia's position. The author emphasizes the importance of the nuclear crisis to be resolved on the basis of agreements reached within six-party talks. This may create preconditions for concluding a peace treaty and establishing a peace mechanism for North East Asia.
