| Summary: | An expert proportional integral differential (PID) control for shunt active power filters (APF) was proposed, which could improve the tracing performance of controller and guarantee the harmonic compensation performance. All controllers based on classical control theory have their own static errors of output. Based on the information of control target, the expert PID controller automatically adjusts the parameters to reduce these errors. Conventional PID control method and the expert PID control method were compared via simulations and the results proved the validity of the proposed method. |
