| description | Revisiting a research field ten years later immediately places the researcher in a comparative position. The revisited social environment is somewhat familiar as the gaze is shaped by past experiences. Although the Hausprojekt and its organization, rules, and prohibitions related to its political, feminist, queer, and anarchistic aims are already known, the collective of inhabitants has completely changed. Most of the residents identify with the queer movement by presenting “fluid” and “temporary” identities. In this context, the present article will approach “fieldworks of comparison” from a temporal perspective. A temporal comparative analysis requires the research field and scientific gaze to be historicized by questioning how revisiting a research field can bring new thinking to bear on research directions, methodology, and how the researcher-interviewee relationship is (re)built.Historicizing fieldworks and scientific viewpoints calls for a discussion that goes beyond the sole issues of creating a comparative framework, to identify the methodological and epistemological foundations of a research field that is trying to get to grips with the evolutions of feminism in an autonomous and anarchistic space. |
