Summary:Abstract: This study falls within the field of teaching writing and focuses on two main objectives. The first objective aims to examine the impact of rewriting activities on the improvement of the teaching/learning process of writing. The second objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of a didactic sequence aimed at improving writing skills among second-year French undergraduate students at Dr Moulay Tahar University in Saida. To achieve this, we proposed different assistance strategies to help students develop their writing skills. The results demonstrate that rewriting is an effective tool for gradually improving written productions. Furthermore, the proposed assistance strategies allowed students to improve their writing production skills.
