| Summary: | This study aims to examine the effect of physical education instructional media on long jump learning outcomes among students at public senior high schools in Medan. The method used in this study is the experimental method, utilizing a Pre-Experimental Design. The sample in this study consists of 25 senior high school students from public schools in Medan. Data analysis in this study was conducted using SPSS (version 25). The results of the study show that the normality test for the pretest and posttest significance values being greater than 0.05 indicates that the data is normally distributed. The homogeneity test results, with significance values greater than 0.05, show that the data is homogeneously distributed. The T-test between the pretest and posttest, based on the "paired sample test" output, reveals a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05, which means the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) is accepted. The average learning outcomes for students in the pretest were 67.32, while in the posttest, the average was 79.30. With a T-Test (2-tailed) significance value of less than 0.05, H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results, indicating that the use of instructional media positively affects the improvement of long jump learning outcomes among senior high school students in Medan.
