MFA leads not only to cardiovascular outcomes, but also to a decrease in the patient’s quality of life, life expectancy, and in most cases to disability. The prevalence of this pathology and the importance of preventing adverse outcomes are often underestimated. This literature review examines the problem of MFA in the context of key studies on the prevalence, course of multivessel disease and the reduction of the risk of cardiovascular events in this group of patients, with an emphasis on antiplatelet and anticoagulant therapy. |
