| description | Ludonarrative has become one of the most prevalent topics in video games. More and more games are judged or analysed in accordance with ludonarrative methods. This paper will analyse the work which has been done to guide ludonarrative methods. The methods will be presented so that we are able to summarise and find the gaps in today’s game development process. Most of the works on ludonarrative methods are theoretical and few are practical. They focus on specific intricacies of ludonarrative and from there procedures are built. The purpose of this paper is to present and find where and how methods in relevance to ludonarrative can be used. With the review of those methods, it can be found that most of the methods are used to review finished products (games) in accordance with ludonarrative ideas. The authors will review and compare the various works in relation to ludonarrative. |
