description The article presents a clinical experience of 58 patients with alveolar liver disease. Hepatic resection was performed in the main group  with the use of carbon  dioxide (CO2) surgical laser, purulent necrotic cavities were  treated by means of laser necrectomy and  antimicrobial photodynamic therapy with subsequent antibiotics laser activation. As the treatment outcome, radical liver resection was carried out in 39 (67,2%) patients. Hence,  in the main group  laboratory indicators normalization period was shortened from13±4,9 to 8±3,4 days (р=0,03), duration of hospital stay decreased from 32±5,8 to 25±4,8 days (р=0,02), postoperative complications incidence rate was reduced from 30,3% до 12% (р=0,05).
