Zum Vorkommen von Cholesterin in Hosta undulata (Liliaceen)
The free sterols from leaves of Hosta undulata (Liliaceae) contain cholesterol, stigmasterol, and sitosterol in a ratio of approximately 16:51:33. Traces of campesterol are probably also present. The identification was accomplished by gas-liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry.
