He was a firm support for St Josemaría, especially during the years of religious persecution in Spain. His academic vocation led him to the chair of Physiology, firstly in the University of Barcelona and then in the University of Navarre, where he was the first dean of the Faculty of Medicine. He founded the first Spanish Magazine of Physiology. |
