Description
Summary:In this paper, we propose to write a history of women's entry to the Palais-Bourbon based on the analysis of the statement of principles of deputies elected between 1958 and 1973, in order to grasp the gendered conditions that have presided over their access to the National Assembly. After having marked the socio-biographical profile of the female members of parliament, we will focus on two major characteristics of their speech, identified by textometry : on the one hand the promises of substantial representation made to their female voters, on the other hand the beginnings of argumentation by gender.
