description
In this paper we propose a new look to the city, discovering unusual spaces of the urban cultural sphere, geographies to create places of learning. Urban fonts are a cultural argument and can help us reinterpret heritage. Typography is a powerful graphic reference for teachers. Educators have able to articulate the complex network of communication in the city. We claim the walking as an aesthetic practice, and the walk through the city as a cultural activity well suited to motivate our students. Following the route of the letters we find references that lead to art, heritage, literature, photography, and especially to new approaches in the educational context.
