The complete mitochondrial genome of Aneogmena fischeri (Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1891) (Diptera: Tachinidae) with phylogenetic analysis

The complete mitochondrial genome of Aneogmena fischeri was sequenced and assembled. The circular genome spans 15,411 bp and contains thirteen protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA genes, two ribosomal RNA genes, and one control region (GenBank accession no. OR537869). The nucleotide composition sho...

Description
Summary:The complete mitochondrial genome of Aneogmena fischeri was sequenced and assembled. The circular genome spans 15,411 bp and contains thirteen protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA genes, two ribosomal RNA genes, and one control region (GenBank accession no. OR537869). The nucleotide composition shows a significant AT bias: 41.01% adenine (A), 39.94% thymine (T), 7.96% guanine (G), and 11.10% cytosine (C). The phylogenetic analysis of 76 species in the family Tachinidae was performed. Phylogenetic results revealed that A. fischeri forms sister relationship with genus Blepharipa Rondani. Tribe Goniini was identified as the sister group to the majority of tribe Eryciini.
