Description
Summary:This field report is based on a series of observations and interviews conducted at the Chasseral Regional Nature Park in the Swiss Jura region which has decided to place the landscape at the heart of its principal objectives. As part of a collaboration with a landscape teaching and research group, the park's educational team sought a third party to help them redesign their Graines de chercheurs educational programme and ensure their activities were more closely related to the territory. The aim of this collaboration, based on activities that take place both inside and outside the classroom, was to explore the prerequisites for an approach using the landscape as a lever for learning and implementing actions with the schools taking part in the experiment. The article looks back at the successes and limitations encountered during the experiment in 2023-2024. Intended to define and test research hypotheses, this exploratory fieldwork bridges the gap between the end of a collective research project and the initial stages of a thesis in geographical didactics dedicated to the sensitive experience of the landscape as a learning resource for classes.
