| description | Eagle syndrome is a rare clinical condition that presents with multitude of symptoms, owing to an abnormally elongated/misshapen styloid process. The patients often present to other specialties like otorhinology, oromaxillofacial surgeons, or neurologists rather than vascular surgeons. Our case and the literature review, focuses on the stylocarotid syndrome. Styloidectomy along with corrective carotid surgery, after multidisciplinary consultation, led to resolution of long-standing symptoms in a young patient. |
