The respective pyridazinone was prepared by cyclization of appropriate β-(aminophenyl) propionic acid with hydrazine hydrate. The pyridazinone derivatives were tested for anticonvulsant activity by MES (maximal electro shock) method and found that few of them have shown significant anticonvulsant activity.
