Summary:Cooling system was designed for 30 t heavy-axle freight locomotive auxiliary converter cabinet air-cooling high-power IGBTmodule to insure product operation stable and reliable. By combination of theoretical calculation and global temperature field analysis forpower module with Fluent, radiator performance was verified and regulated for optimal effect to satisfy system requirement, shortendevelopment cycle and reduce cost.
